Welcome
Thank you for being here. I hope you can help us help these sweet animals.
Who We Are
& about the legendary "Hue"
My name is Hannah. I came to Tampa in 2018 from Huntingtown, MD. I grew up with small dogs and thought I wanted to be a Veterinarian from a very young age. While in college, I adopted to longest-stay resident from the Pet Resource Center, Hue. Hue helped me through the hardest times of my life, and I rescued him from his. We saved each other.

Because of my passion for animals I actually started walking dogs in my apartment complex while I was in college. I ultimately ended up starting a petsitting business, Peace Love and Woofs LLC. This has been my full time gig until Avery was dumped at my house, Hue passed away, and Lulu was abandoned down the street from me. This lit a fire in me that more animals needed my help. That I couldn't necessarily keep all of the dogs but that I can help more of them if I don't!

At Hues of Hope, every animal has their own unique story. I truly want to give animals a chance to recover and thrive. I want to add vibrance to every animal's story! The more that our community can come together to foster and adopt rescue dogs in need, the more stray dogs we can keep off our streets and keep from being euthanized.

How does fostering save lives? How does it work?

Fostering provides a lifeline for animals in need by offering them a safe, loving environment while they await their forever homes. It gives them a chance to recover from trauma, heal, and experience the love and care that is essential for their well-being. Fostering helps prevent overcrowded shelters, reduces the risk of euthanasia, and ultimately saves lives by giving animals the time and space they need to thrive in a home setting.
When you become a foster caregiver, you temporarily welcome an animal into your home. Your role includes providing them with shelter, care, and one-on-one time. In return, you help them adjust, learn good behavior, and prepare for adoption. We provide all things necessary to ensure you have the resources needed to give the animal the best chance for success. Once the animal is ready, they will be adopted into a permanent home, and you’ll have played a crucial role in their journey to a new life.
Dogs that you can help.
Help us give these dogs a second chance at life. Let's add some vibrance to their story.
